what a honor to hear his wisdom

@HamsaYogi man if only other religions/cultures had a lore and mythology just as awesome and vast (if not more lol) than Indians/Hinduism. No disrespect, but I feel like my life would have been complete. But yeah, I generally believe Brahman is the one who is above the Trimurti and contains it within an atom of Himself.

Is the Supreme Spirit the same as non-being? Is it the same as consciousness, or is it the creator of consciousness?
1dahny 3 months ago
@1dahny 1. No, non-being is merely the opposite aspect of being or existence. The Absolute is beyond all such comparative phenomenon. 2. The Absolute is both the creator of all consciousness and consciousness Itself, but not as we experience consciousness or mind. People cannot discern consciousness from the muddle of their thoughts and mental noise. So Gurunath gives the experience of "no mind" called Shivapat, which allows us to glimpse pure awareness or soul consciousness.

I'm a christian and I think Brahman is the absolute supreme God in hinduism that transcends the trimurti.

@HamonLord en(dot)wikipedia(dot)org/wiki/Shiva There are many aspects of Shiva as the supreme lord within different sects. Shiva contains all the three aspects of creation, preservation and destruction within Himself. He alone is the Supreme Triumvirate Deity containing Brahma Vishnu as well as Himself. All the vast lore and mythology of India cannot fit under one umbrella.
