It was an ugly time in history. My Armenian family suffered too. A few years ago I couldn't send my daughter to Armenian summer camp for the second year because they taught children as young as five about the troubles. Kids should have innocent fun at camp, not lessons in hate. There is no excuse for what happened to the Greeks and Armenians. Just as there was no excuse for what happened in WW2. Never forget, but try to move on. Hate the politics, not the people.
