CopterX 450 tail servo setup work W1008

Setting up tail servo center point on CopterX 450 heli. A series of iterations, try how much rudder is needed. Then shift tail servo accordingly. Try again, shift if needed. When the torque is almost neutralized you can fine-tune servo with sub trim option in radio.

It could, I did 12 flights all together. Then I crashed it beyond repair on the last flight. I am not the best heli pilot as it seems :-)

are you running the servo through the gyro at this step?

Hi! No, gyro is mounted only, but not connected. I have direct contact between receiver and tail servo at this point. So I could get a "clean" result for setting up tail servo without gyro influence. I hope this helps with your build. Good luck!
