Sun Kil Moon -- Neverending Math Equation

I really like the music of Sun Kil Moon and Mark Kozelek. Modest Mouse did this originally but I like the Sun Kil Moon version too. The imagery is sort of meh...but I figured it was better than looking at a blank screen.

When i first heard this i was wondering around these woods. I remember it just overwhelming me completely and the forest just came alive. This feeling of connection with everything around me was almost too much to take. I kind of broke down for a minute, lost in the life that's already passed and how heavy the idea of what's yet to come. I picked as many of these little purple flowers as i could hold, got back to my car, drove back home, and gave them to my mom. That day and this song changed me

granted i think you have to like mark kozelek's work first before you can like his covers. modest mouse was first real love in music, but this version is nice too

Not feeling this in the slightest. It lacks everything that makes the original so good. Just because you can cover anything and try to make it your own doesn't mean you should.

exactly, although i agree it's a COVER and not the same kind of feeling of the original (on purpose probably) i just can't relate to this version at all

You most certainly are not. I like the modest mouse one for how rough it is. This is just a complete bastardization of the song I'd say. But hey I'm no artist. I probably shouldn't share my opinion.
