Mercedes AMG - The AMG Private Lounge Days 2011 were held in Le Castellet, France this May. After experiencing the special "Spirit of AMG" during a factory tour and being the first group of guests in the newly built AMG Private Lounge at the AMG Headquarters in Affalterbach, an exclusively charter aircraft flew our guests to Le Castellet. The legendary Paul Ricard High Tech Test Track was not only occupied with the high performance vehicles from the Mercedes-AMG fleet during the driving training, but was also driven on by the AMG Private Lounge members on some of the fastest motorcycles in the world -- the Ducati Superbike 848. The third day brought up a third high-performance engine: the famous Cigarette Racing boat which accelerates up to over 200 km/h and is therefore rightly called "Inspired by AMG". The ride in this exceptional speedboat was definitely the crowning finale of the event.
