You have NO IDEA how ENCOURAGED and HAPPY I am to see that you made a video showing folks how to create this skin tone. You do not see alot of stamped images where the girl/boy has a darker skin tone. Let me be firts to say that I showed this to my daughter and she was OVERJOYED to see how you colored the little girl. She asked me to use an image similiar to yours and make her birthday invitations so that the little girl looks like her!BRAVO!! Now, all I need is to purchased some Copics! LOL

I can never ever color that good

This was so well done. I got tired of trying to color the skin and the result was looking like mud. I will have to try that technique though I use the prismacolor markers and I have the color blender as well.

@TigglesLuvsNomNoms This was very helpful!! instead of trying to offend someone, learn how to spell!!!!!!! Thank you Suzanne for the tutorial!!
I am VERY new to Copics (so new that I dont have any yet). I've been watching videos and doing my "research" before I make my purchase. I think I'm ready now:). I see Copic Caio Markers and Copic Sketch Markers. Which are you using and why?

@TheKraftyKell I use the Sketch markers but both the sketch & ciao's do the same thing, they have the same nibs and hold the same ink. Sketch have the names/numbers on the endcaps the ciao's do not--sketch marker also hold more ink but they are both refillable so that's not a huge deal.

does it matter what kind of paper you use?

when using copics you want a really smooth surface & tight/strong weight of paper. I use Gina K's Luxury cs in 120 lb weight but the Neenah Crest supersmooth is good too!
