The NGDB version of the Rodney Crowell classic, "It's A Long Hard Road". Great performances, reminds me of my childhood in the hills of West Virginia, although it was stripping tobacco, not cotton balls we did, and they are both awful, mind-numbing, back-breaking work.

Hmm wonder why there isn't an official version of this somewhere. Non the less, great blast from the past. Wonderful song, my fav Dirt Band tune by far. Love the 80's garb!! Wow did we really dress like that? Guess we did. HA!!

I have to admit, the version on my iPod and CDs are 10x better, but regardless, this is without a doubt my favorite Nitty Gritty Dirt Band song. Thanks for the upload. Love this song.

@Weebler00 Yes, the audio is pretty grim isn't it. My only excuse is that It was awful when I first recorded it ................ but I dont have the experise to do anything about that. Pleased you liked the posting though.
