Here is one of many rookie examples: During Troy Aikmans rookie season he threw 18 interceptions in 11 games played. He was terrible, in over his head. He went on to be one of the most accurate QB's in NFL history that always played at his best in big games. Tebow did great for a rookie! This season will be some more learning, year 3 he will be a superstar just wait and see

If I had had the #1 pick in 2010, I take Tebow all day long. Elway's first year 50% comp 7td 14 int. so far he has been with denver 24 games and started 6. they are 4-14 w/o him 3-3 w/ him. he has 7 rushing TD's and is averaging 7 ypc. he has thrown 11 tds and only 4 int. Read that again, in his first 6 games (plus a couple in relief) he has a td-in ration 11-4. name another QB with those stats this early. They said Drew Brees sucked after 30 starts, and traded him. @produceman117 Ok i concede that he is not ready rite now to be a starting QB. I didnt like that he was picked in the first round bc of the expectations to produce rite away. But he is good enough to get 15 plays a game! The dolphins ran the wildcat and teams HAD to study for it. So if he plays a little, teams will have to game plan for HIM which would help the offense. all i want is for him to get a shot to prove what he can do in the NFL. and if the broncos suck it up, he will get his shot.

@head2513 If he were just throwing at a still target, then yeah he might be accurate without having proper mechanics i.e. Reggie Miller's unorthodox jumpshot. But seeing how he's throwing at moving targets against super-fast and sophisticated defenses, technique and accuracy go hand in hand. Otherwise, the Broncos wouldn't spend all of last year's camp trying to adjust his throwing motion.

Im just Effin tired of all these ROBOT QB's in the nfl. Why must a qb have mechanics to succeed? accuracy yes but mechanics??? really??? My qb has some of the best mechanics out there, he is the perfect robot!!!! but chad henne cant look off a defender to save his life. also i hope vick has a good year but i doubt he will meet the unrealistic expectations people are putting on him. teams now have a whole year of film to study on him and A.foster

I have watched every single snap this guy has ever taken and there has only been a couple of times when he hasn't delivered in crunch time. Im tired of all the nit picking about his mechanics and accuracy. "he's to passionate" when i heard that i wondered when that became a bad thing. Especially with all these greedy players in the nfl now, im talking about the ones who get a fat contract then get lazy. i bet tebow would play for free if there was a lockout.
