Slash New Album 2010 - Crucify the Dead [feat. Ozzy Osbourne]

El guitarrista que alcanzara notoriedad con su ex banda, Guns N Roses, y luego formara Slashs Snakepit y Velvet Revolver, Saul Hudson, más conocido como Slash, se encuentra pronto a editar su primer disco en solitario, con fecha de salida para el próximo 6 de abril en Norteamérica, el 10 de mayo en Inglaterra (donde el disco saldrá acompañado de una edición especial de la revista Classic Rock), y el 24 de mayo en Japón.

Primeramente titulado Slash & Friends (Slash y amigos), finalmente el guitarrista optó por llamarlo simplemente Slash. El registro cuenta con una considerable cantidad de invitados, tales como Iggy Pop, Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Grohl, M. Shadows (Avenged Sevenfold), Chris Cornell (Soundgarden, Audioslave), Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge), Adam Levine (Maroon 5), Travis Barker (Blink 182), Lemmy (Motörhead), Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers, entre muchos otros.

El disco fue producido por Valentine (Queens of the Stone Age). Ya es posible -desde el año pasado-, escuchar el primer single: Sahara, con Kōshi Inaba, en su Myspace oficial, más otra nueva composición, By the sword con Andrew Stockdale (guitarra y voz de Wolfmother).

Slash anunció en su Twitter que el año entrante, a partir de Abril, comenzará una gira mundial.
A raíz de este comentario, muchos usuarios de Twitter le han estado preguntando o sugiriendo a Slash para ir a sus respectivos países. Entre ellos, un muchacho de Brasil le preguntó cuando regresará a su país y Slash respondió "EL AÑO QUE VIENE". Otro usuario le preguntó si vendría a ARGENTINA y Slash respondió "DEFINITIVAMENTE".
