Sadly Govt of India failed to recognise Saigal sahib who belonged to united India.Many are given awards to appease a section while real deserving men like Saigal and Surendranathji are neglected. It is time they are recognized than the un deserving ones.

Simply divine, there never will be any other Saigal, except K.L.Saigal. I am in my 80's and he will live for ever even when all others and I are gone. Such a joy to listen to him. I have lot of his recordings . C.H.Atama did try to copy him but to no avail. I wish that the Government of India have his birthday anniversary or at least has his postage stamp issued in his memory . Shame on India Government.
