The thing that I love about Nouvelle Vague covers is how they make my imagination go wild. I always dream up some scene when I listen to their songs. I love them.

For me, the original is living in the moment with regards the lyrical content. This cover is looking back on life and reminiscing about how it used to be. I'm a massive fan of the original and I think this cover does it enormous justice.

b side to the masterpiece that is Ghost town,but this song has a charm of its own.This cover doesn,t do much for me though,its that familiar trap of lesser artists thinking if they slow it down and add acoustic guitar it represents an expressive take. You and i know its boring.

Man, people are dumb. Who ever said a cover had to be an exact duplication of the original? Music is ART and it is open to interpretation and the beauty of music is that artists are free to interject their own personal bits of artistic idiosyncracies, even when doing a cover of another artist's song. That's exactly what makes this version so awesome. They took a great song, adapted it in their own unique way, and made another great song that is actually a beautiful homage to the original.

They are INTERPRETING songs and making them sound like Nouvelle Vague and not trying to make a perfect copy. They put this special NV thing in them.
