This is a trailer for a documentary that I am making that is intended to encourage dialogue on the issue of extreme fundamentalist preaching as seen on the LSU's campus.

  • Its "Judge not lest ye be judged"

  • @GoonSquadFTB True, depending on your translation. I believe you are quoting out of the KJV. I used the NASB traslation. Some people prefer different translations and there is nothing wrong with that. I just chose the NASB translation.

  • What does it mean when Jesus said do not judge? Are those that condemn the people in the film judging? Just a thought.

  • As the maker of this video, allow me to say that I am not judging anybody. What I have done was simply take scripture and pair it with video of these preachers. I have left the conclusions to be made by the viewers as to what they think about the subject matter and for them to decide what they think of the preachers. Never in the video do I say that what these preachers are doing is wrong. If that is what you want to take from it, then farbeit for me to correct your opinion.

  • By quoting from the Bible, and showing clips of audience members yelling "All they want is hope" and what not, you unfavorably represent one side. Why choose those Scriptures? I know that there are plenty of others that could there case. The key is to take the entire in context. Then you can properly expose anyone who is in error to the Scriptures. Taking only one passage is not sufficient enough to provide a fair case against these street preachers.

  • thats just the thing...i'm not trying to make a case against them. I'm letting the viewers decide. That is the point of the ending where the question is posed, "Its time to decide what do you believe." And for the record, I have sat down with these preachers at their homes and I have nothing put the highest regard for them as people. They are very hospitable, genuine, and sincere. I encourage everyone to get to know them and have a constructive dialogue with them.

  • hey did you ever complete that documentary??? Would love to see it...

  • THOSE BROTHER'S CAN PREACH! AMEN

  • People take this so personally. Im Christian and if some crazy preacher told me I was going to hell, id be like, "OK?" and leave

  • Hell is cold..God is a consuming fire

  • Your video is meant to show hypocritical judging? Then you should have shown some examples. However, you are absolutely right about love. Without it, the preaching is completely dead.

  • Like it or not 90% or more of christians will not make it into the kingdom of heaven! All you have to do is read Galatians 5:16-26 to see if you bear any fruits? Then you have to forgive to be forgiving. And check yourself to see if you obey all commandments because everyone will be judge by your works NOT your believes or faith. Oh, how about doctrine? Tinity or Oneness? Baptism or Not? Purity, Holiness or Not? Ect, ect, ect...

  • bunch of lunatics, seriously messed up in the head!
