Draft Horses In Action

To me, there are few things as stirring as a six horse hitch in motion, especially when the six horses are a perfectly matched team of draft horses. This is my attempt to capture that majesty on film. Unfortunately, my digital camera is so old that it's nearly obsolete, so the images are a bit grainy. If I can ever afford a better camera, I'll try again. But for now, this is the best I can do.

This was taken earlier today at the Northwest Washington Fair. There are eight hitches in all. Three breeds are represented: Clydesdales, Percherons, and Belgians. All of them are amazing!
