One day i'm going to go to brighton and just walk around in a 30s fashioned suit with a little wooden ukulele in one hand and breifcase in the other :D

Buster Keaton was no slouch with a ukulele either.

Look up innuendo and make sure you have your little stick of Blackpool rock in your hand.
Understand now?
-
it may sound sill but what is an innuendo ?

George Formby was absolutely brilliant and entertained a nation, with his innuendo, which was, and still is excellent. I am amazed that no-one has has taken on the challenge of bringing this Great Man and his life story to film. Perhaps they can`t find anybody to replace him. That`s understandable. What a talent.

Thanks for posting this great song and nice footage from a 1930s U.S. film with Buster Keaton. Wonderful artist too. Buster never smiled in his films but wound up in all kinds of situations. (His most well known film was "The General" which portrayed him as a steam locomotive engineer and was set during the U.S. civil war).

Brilliant, thanks for posting this. I kept my Ukelele in my hand all the way through the song...very enjoyabele, the song that is.
