Just so you know, actually I began reading the series out-of-order. My first book was Dream Warrior, then Devil May Cry, and so forth. I can tell you that it does help if you read the books in order, however even if you don't, like I did, Sherrilyn makes every novel begin as though it's a stand-alone novel. There aren't any loose ends or parts that may cause confusion (except if you start off with Unleash The Night, then maybe you'll need help understanding). Other than that, everything runs so

For those who may not already know, Sherrilyn Kenyon IS allowing her books to be inverted into movies. they are beginning with the first Chronicles of Nick novel "Infinity". I personally believe that is a great start. It winds up for the more intense happenings in the original Dark Hunter series. I've read every book, and own nearly all of them except the novellas.
