  • No one ever respects Australias commitment to World war 1 or 2.

  • I do and so does many people, Myself and the guy above you (Irishlight42) both respect the commonwealth more than most people im sure who live in those nations haha. He reenacts british for WWII and i believe hes working on NAM. And i do WWI aussie for the ANZACS, WWII 2/14TH AIF Australian and im not getting my Australian vietnam kit up and i wont lie, i couldent be any more proud when i put that uniform on! • @usnavysealsguy

    what do you mean ?

  • all those autralian soldiers and POW's who fought in paua new guinea after all that the japanes did to them they were forced to forgive them or be known as a racist australian who did not deserve to live

  • @irishlight42

The Japs were later pushed back to the northern beaches by the Aussies where US troops were brought in to take Buna, they refused to fight, MacArthur sent Eichelberger up there "to sort them out" ,the Aussies after taking their objective Gona, then took Buna and Sananada. Aust also defeated the Japs at Milne Bay which was the first defeat of the Japs on land in WW2. Aussies fought in Malaya, Borneo, Bouganville, Timor, Darwin, Rabaul, etc See Kokoda The Bloody Track on youtube

  • @irishlight42

Aust mostly had militia troops initially in New Guinea. Churchill and Roosevelt did not want our Army returned from the mid east to defend our own country. Curtin demanded the that troops be returned. So 400 untrained 18-19 yo militia troops took on the vanguard of 10,000 japs and with fighting withdrawls delayed the Japs adv by two weeks, Japs had given themselves 2 weeks to take Port Morseby. Just in time the returned Army got to them at Isurava before they were wiped out .

  • @Shockedi fuck you i am an australian so fuck your mom

  • my father served in the Papua New Guinea campaign in 1944-45 and this video is a wonderful tribute to him and all aussie soldiers who fought gallantly during that time. Lest we forget.
