"They never give up on you" - School Exclusions

Maggie Atkinson, Children's Commissioner for England has published findings from our School Exclusions Inquiry in the report, "They Never Give Up On You". It finds most schools work hard to cater for troubled students. However, for the first time on record, schools have admitted illegally excluding children.

As well as the report we have produced this film with the support of young people. It powerfully demonstrates what we found.

I'm glad I've finally seen this, what a relief.....after a year of going through a terrible time at my sons school, I was starting to give up! My son was excluded for 2 days, due to the headteacher having a problem with me, then taking it out on a little 7 year old who couldn't stand up for himself. There needs to be more help for the children and parents going through this....will def give yourselfs a call. I hope you can help!

i think it ridiculous that school Exclude children illegally firstly because it is silly to exlcude someone for beiing to dfferent or making a change to the normal school scene they should be asked why they are being different
