Sadly,she didn't win NXT despite having the best record AND moves on there.Instead,Kaityln who botches every move and had the worst record wins!Unfair :( AJ did say she will be back in WWE,I'm a big fan of her,so this makes me happy lol.This is a great move for her finisher.It's originally called "The Christo",but WWE renamed it to "The Octopus"

Gail used to do a similar move (but even then, it wasn't the exact same as hers was more centered around using her legs to hook the far arm) but even then, she didn't invent THAT ONE either. What most north american wrestling fans need to realize is that very few moves are "invented" by north american wrestlers: MOST of them come from either Japan or Mexico, nowadays. This move and several variations there of was being done there years before Gail got to it.

@latina21026 'Mentor' has many meanings: If you mean training-wise, she was originally trained by her ex-boyfriend, Jay Lethal before being signed to WWE. In development she was groomed for a more WWE friendly style by the FCW training staff which is currently made up of Tom Pritchard, Norman Smiley, Billy Kidman and Ricky Steamboat. If you mean who was her NXT pro? That was Primo.

OMG! When some rookie Diva pulls a move like this, the whole WWE universe stops to watch! When Gail Kim does this everyone just turns a blind eye! WWE is so stupid, Gail Kim has been using this move for years and yet WWE never acknowledge it very well, but when some rookie from their own territory does it, it's like the biggest thing ever. WOW how sad. Gail Kim is better than A.J. by 100 times. A.J. is cool to, but her skills are kinda lacky, maybe in a few years she will perfect it.
