  • about multiple voicers, I know it's inconvenient sometimes, but I can't do much and my editor can only do so many voices. Plus, I don't know the extent of my team's prowess.

  • (Sorry, had to double post to complete my thought)

First episodes(or in my case, movies) are usually not good, or at least not as good as the succeeding episodes/movies are. But if you plan things out well, as I did, then it shouldn't be horrible, like the fandubs made by fangirls squealing into a microphone that they both own. Those suck and I prejudge 'em.

  • Toonlord's sound effects are the greatest, as were my editor's, which is why Inuyasha SOAHR Abridged was so full of them that people often complained that they overshadowed the dialog. Probably not something I should brag about, but oh well.

  • I agree with Windows Movie Maker comments. I used to use it in my episodes and it took ages, but since getting Vegas, things are SO much easier.

    Nice podcast.

  • episode 5 was the only one I did not use movie maker to make your preaching to choir with the crashes

  • You would not believe how many "There is too much swearing" in our episode one, i reply "Watch episode 5" and tehn theyre like "OMG THIS IS SO HILARIOUS" and subscribes

  • We got a visit from the admin of yugiforums. He IS an asshole, but LK joining our forum more than made it up for it.

  • Oh, doing multilevel audio can actually be done easily. Just record the same line twice with a different tone of voice on Audacity, and then tweak them for at least four different voices, and then load them all into it at the same time. You get a crazy crowd effect out of one actor.

  • What's the toughest part of doing your own abridged series? For me, it's filling the quiet space so you're not sitting there getting bored after 2 seconds of silence just because I was too lazy to find an effect to fill it.

  • I still vote for putting this on iTunes.
