This here is my collection of the original line of US DragonBall figures from 1995. I have the twelve 2.5 inch collectible figures, which are:

Goku
Goku with power pole
Bulma
Chi-Chi
Yamcha
Puar
Ox-King
Emperor Pilaf
Krillin
Launch
Oolong
Master Roshi

And I also have the three battle action figures.

Staff Slashing Goku
Sword-Swinging Yamcha
Fast-Kicking Krillin

I even have a second set of the miniature figures that I bought off some seller on eBay in 2003. They're most likely knock-offs as you can see, but I love them just the same.

The reason I prize this set so much has a lot to do with my childhood and the nostalgia that comes with it. I bought a set of these in early 1996 just because they were cool looking. I had no prior knowledge of Dragon Ball before that, I always assumed that it was some video game or something that I couldn't find.

Anyway. I played with these toys more than anything else in my collection, even my Power Ranger and Godzilla figures. These were just the right size to fit in the large plastic vehicles that me and my brother owned.

Before the toys went off the market, I had probably had three or four sets of these figures simply because I kept losing them; whether it be in the yard(which normally ended with a lawnmower and pieces of the toy all over the yard) or in a hotel room while on vacation. The very last set that I can remember purchasing was from the discount aisle in Wal-Mart in September 1996 where they were being sold for 25 cents each. I tried to keep that set up as best I could, but alas I failed and ended up losing those too.

It wasn't until 2003 that I came across a set on eBay for a few bucks. I bought it post-haste. Then in 2006 and 2007, I managed to snag an original set still MOC from my nephew, and then the three deluxe figures for $15 total on eBay.

I may upload more videos in the future, and maybe a little surprise.
