Other commentators have asked for more detail about both the controller & SSR .
They are right having exact model nos means you can hunt in earnest & not waste time. I guess the thermocouple is in a bottle of water to slow down the compressor switching rates?

excellent video well done. I'm really looking forward to this series. Exactly the project I need to motivate me to KEG! :) AND... I have an old small chest freezer so looks like the wife gets a new one! That should bring her on board
