This scene was filmed in Dublin City Ireland. The mother Fox Known as the Vixen feeds her young Kits/Cubs with her milk. Also by now she feeds them with solid foods. The young foxes retreat to the safety of their underground den, only staying above ground for a few minutes with the absence of their mother, who has returned to foraging for more food. • nice

  • @TheVaughn646 ........THANK YOU!

  • Just beautiful. There used to be foxes in my area, but I haven't seen them for a long time. Too much traffic, too many new homes. In town, on one of the busiest streets across from new gas station being built, I found a dead vixen. I felt so bad i went back and had her skinned. I tanned her hide myself and mounted it on felt. She hung for a long time on my wall until I traded her to a Creek Indian musician. He was going to make a flute sack. You are very fortunate.

  • @kidfromstatenisland That's a great story. Thanks to everybody for the positive feedback, its made me very happy to know that people are enjoying this captured scene.

  • @kidfromstatenisland

I was just curious - how long did it take you and did you bring her food, or just wait quietly on a routine basis?

  • @kidfromstatenisland I never brought her food, i did not want to influence her normal food gathering ways, in any way. It took a long time to capture this moment, between her and her offspring. I had observed her nursing her young in this way, a number of times, but never Photographed or Filmed the scene, untill i was satisfied that i had gained her trust and that i would not scare her away. It was a great moment in the end.
