Im not 100% sure about this..
But i thought if you cooked, or even let glavanized steal to heat up it can leak out toxic gases..
just wanted to pass this on...

We have a guy in town who sells Ammo cans pretty much year round out of a Huge trailor... for a very cheap and good price...
I will be picking up two of those size ammo cans.. and trying to make two stoves..
thank you so much for this video, and sharing this knowledge!
Awesome idea!

What bit did you use on the Dremel for the stovepipe hole?

You guys may want to get a torch kit for future projects. You could torch that hole in about a min. I know my builds grew by leaps and bounds when I finally got mine.
I can appreciate these guys taking the time to make this video. So, with that I say, Thank You. However, I’m quite disappointed in How Little thought/planning went into this project, from guys who claim they are survivalists. I’m not going to bash them. I’m just voicing how I feel. Holes in the bottom? Uh, NO… Pipe flange? Not needed… The feet are ok. With a minute more of thought, they could have been made to be adjustable for uneven ground... There ya have it folks, My opine. @TheVABigDog @TheVABigDog, This stove has performed perfectly at least 20 times since it was built..what is the problem with vent holes in the bottom? They self regulate with the ash and embers creating an inflow of air, and as far as leveling goes, that is what hand tools are for, the flange was put on only to finish the project for the video and has been replaced because like true survivalists this stove was made with things found around our shop at the time, thanks for the input!

i think the vent holes on the bottom will cause problems later with hot coals falling ,i would have put a drawer on the bottom to be a ash dumper great job though

@MrDarrellSlover We have had little to no hot coals or ash coming out of our vent holes. When we make another one we will be putting the vent in the door.
