Shaun Bailey, life-long London community worker and hip-hop fan, asks if we're profiting off the backs of our young dead. Hip-hop has become a goldfish bowl, he says, and everybody has their face pressed up against the glass.

but were not even profiting from it the major corporations are it would be one thing if we actually controlled and OWNED hip hop but we DONT and yet still defend it its nothing short of modern day slavery and minstrelsy. Look how good black music was when WE actually owned a label it was called motown.

Lol! Back atchya kool k. These ppl frame their knowledge of OUR CULTURE on listening to a 50 cent track here...a Jay z track there and then talkin like they know sh*t!!! Hip Hop is one of the view cultures where ppl who hate it or dont understand it are quoted as 'experts'! Some devilish, decepakkkon, confuse a negro type vibe. P.E.A.C.E.

S/o to clearwire 360x for dropping knowledge! Hop hop rarely gets radio play or tv time. The crap radio that you see now is a result of the over-commercialized society we live in now. If you wanna find REAL hip hop walk up to the next conscious black man you see and ask for directions.

hip hop is a joke?! lol! i didn't realise that...but the joke is ppl talking about something they dont understand. I THINK U NEED TO STUDY HIP HOP CULTURE AND IT'S 5 ELEMENTS B4 U START TALKING. u say hip hop teaches negativity to blacks I SAY MAINSTREAM MEDIA NEVER TOUCHES HIP HOP cause its waaaay to intelligent . The Willie Lynch syndrome in full FX. If u think hip hop is all about niggaz and bitches i suggest listenin 2 NAS, IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE, LOWKEY, KINETIC, JAY ELECTRONICA ETC and learn
