Fantastic work! I wasn't sure how the Merlin would perform when it was first released, but it looks like it can behave as well as a big steadicam when a good operator uses it.
Great shot, I hope to see some more!

you could have fooled me. Maybe you r using a merlin, but I think u r using a dolly
or something with wheels u r on

Hey this is really cool. Is it a handheld merlin or the one with the arm?
-
is this shot with the am and vest? or just handheld merlin?
-
You nailed it! (of course the fisheye does help a bit, eh? :)

Perfect!

you do understand the difference between zooming and dollying, right? :S
-
do it with zoom and you won't even have to move
Dear guests of my channel... This shot has been maded with a Z1 Sony and a 0,6X Wide Attachment...no arm and no vest have been used! And, of course, no dolly or other wheel based system... Only my hands and my feet :) walking backward... The only think I have added is a slightly stabilization at the moment of postproduction to eliminates the lateral fluctuation dued to the thin structure of the Merlin versus my previous Steadicam handheld model: JR.
