Papua New Guinean (PNG) Prime Minister H.E. Grand Chief Sir Michael Somare country speech during the High Level Segment during the Cofference of Parties fifteenth Session (COP 15) at the Bella Centre in Copenhagen, Denmark, on Thursday, 17th December 2009. This gives the policy directions on how PNG would be addressing the climate change issues and how it's negotiating its position in this climate change negotiation which promised great deal for all, The founding and current Chair of the Coalition of Rainforest Nations and an active member of the Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS) and Group 77 and China (G77 & China), PNG is pushing for a fair deal in reduce emission from deforestation and forest degradation (REDD-plus) in developing country with creditable financing incentives from the developed countries.
