Somebody brought me this injured what I believe to be a Texan Pioneer Pigeon, but I'm not sure. I have no clue about domesticated birds since I usually just raise the orphaned wild ones and release them. I also believe this bird to be a male, so I named him Hawk because he looks like a Mississippi Kite on the first glance (everybody who sees him first asks if it's a hawk).
I remember as a child I had a parakeet and in order to keep him from getting lonely, we put a mirror in his cage. I would never do this with a wild bird, but I gave it a try with Hawk, and he sure is flirting up a storm with himself!
I had to remove the mirrors after 30 minutes. He was starting to exhaust himself LOL.
He looks like an Indian Fantail or perhaps a fantail mix. He has feathered feet, head crest, and somewhat of a fantail. Beautiful bird whatever he is. You need to get him a girlfriend! :D

Not sure what it is, but don't think its a Texan Pioneer. Texans don't have feathered feet.

I have really no clue! I googled pigeon images and the TX Pioneer Pigeon was the closest when it came to the looks. But maybe they weren't the real thing either lol.
Maybe somebody else here can help us figure out what they are, because I still have and enjoy them.
