Fiat has already signed off on making 500 more Vipers between now and July of 2010. Ralph Gilles said that they will be developing a new Viper for 2012, with a more up-to-date and quality interior and more lightweight advanced materials, but not too much as to raise the price of the car too high. Plans are to continue using the 8.4L V10 in the current car, and to develope a new dual-clutch transmission with some help from Ferrari, but absolutely NO parts will be shared, engines included.

Well who knows really. In 2007 they only sold 400 Vipers and the brand name has been up for sale ever since. However in 2008 they pulled their media stunt on the Nurburgring with this ACR full on race car. It worked somehow because sales have picked up and all the limited ACRs are sold. However Fiat now owns Chrysler and they have no interest in Viper because Fiat also owns Ferrari. They have talked about putting a Ferrari V10 into the Viper and up the brandname a bit but that will never happen.
That is awesome i hope the viper never goes away.
