The Beatitudes are sung in two-part znamenny chanting. This is taken from: orthodoxtwopartmusic.org
In Thy Kingdom remember us O Lord, when thou comest into the Kingdom.
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God
Blessed are those who persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when men shall revile you and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil falsely for my sake
Rejoice and be exceeding glad, for great is your reward in heaven.

This chant is very moving. I allways chant he beatitudes when I feel bad, they help uplift my spirit. This is also a great selection of icons that fit the words of the chant very beautifully.
