PAINTING A KRAMER FOUCUS 3000 TO LOOK LIKE A BLACK AND WHITE VAN HALEN FRANKENSTRAT. MOUNTING THE HOLDING STICK, PRIMER AND THE BLACK BASE COAT OF PAINT.

  • @kMxLivetheMod a guitar. sandpaper 220, 320 400 600 1000 and 1500 grits. Deft brand wood sealer. primer, red, white and black 1 can each. 3 cans clear coat.Rustoleum lacquer. tape 3/4 1/4 and 1/8. rubbing compound. 100% c otton cloth. hobby knife. solidering iron and solier. screw drivers. a wall haner to hang the guitar by the headstock after it is completed. do not let the paint come in contact with any kind of rubber or vynal. and alot of patience not optional. have fun :)

  • @vanhalen5150jhs and when i use the sandpaper, do i use the 220 first then 320 and so on?

  • @kMxLivetheMod if your sanding a body that is already painted and are prepping it for paint start with 220 and progress up to 400 the spray the primer. for the clear coat after all clear has cured and dried. start with 320 and progess up to 1500 then use the rubbing compound and buff with the cotton cloth.

  • what brand spray paint did you use? how much was a can?

  • yeah but usually you screw it in to the pick guard but you don't use one for this guitar
