How many seasons (series) will there be? It's already season 2 and Morgana just realized she's a witch. I think they need to develop Morgana more. They seem to be neglecting Merlin and stressing the major events of everyone else this season. Merlin needs to uncover his father and learn why he's so powerful. Arthur needs to learn that Merlin has magic. I think everyone else will before Arthur. I love Colin and Bradly!!! wooo! (I'm in the US and I LUUUV this show!!)

The producers Julian Murphy and Johnny Capps always speak of 5 series but the BBC would only commission 1 new series each year, so as for today we only have the assurance that we'll get 3 series.

If there'll be a 4th or even 5th series we won't know until the end of 2010 (towards the end of airing series 3) or 2011 (towards the end of a 4th series). It all depends on the ratings.

No, that's Enmyria, a female druid played by Emily Beecham. Morgause'll be back in episode 02.12. :)

Oh goodness I can't wait! I love Morgana, she's my favorite character. Her and Lancelot. I just feel that they did an awesome job with those characters. I do wish that they would develop the two more, though, I feel like I hardly see Morgana unless there's an episode dedicated to her.

I also like how Morgana's not really "evil" in this, I think she's just confused and the Druids help her. In all honesty her betraying Camelot could have been avoided in Merlin had told her about his secret.

In the final episode of this season, Merlin does find something about his dad (episode where the Great Dragon finally gets loose/starts destroying Camelot, so Merlin/Arthur go to find the last Dragon Lord for help)!

As for Mordred, of course he's gonna go evil! Look at who he's got for guardians. It's almost like criminals who target kids. They do cuz children are easy to manipulate!

Also, the bracelet that Morgause gave her could be causing her to act like this.

If she does go evil, I hope its for a certain reason (finds out Morgause is her half-sister/Uther kills her), so she goes evil cuz she's heartbroken & Merlin/her friends guide her back to the path of good. At least, that's what I would like to happen (more drama/character building).

I agree w/ both twistingfate9 & Kittycat918. I hope they do steer away from certain tales of the legend (1s where she's evil). This is a different story from the legend so they don't have to follow every detail. Also like Kittycat918 says, I don't think Morgana's evil, she's just confused about what to do. Unlike Merlin, she doesn't have a Gaius helping/teaching her about her powers & how to use them, so she just does what she believes to be right.

I really hope that they steer away from Morgana story in the real legends.. iw ould hate to see her turn evil... it would be no more Morgana/main cast interaction.. atleast not happy interaction :(

In the legend, Mordred is is the son that Arthur has with eighter Morgana or Morgause. They eventually kill each other in battle.
