It's weird to see how loopy Andre's shots were at this time of his career. Certainly, later in his career his shots became flatter with lower tragectories.
Also, his serve changed tremendously. He got his toss much higher as career progressed.

agassi? cheat .

If you want to disect edberg games, his weakness is his 4hand.

Certainly a major contender from the last three decades. He might have had some competition from the best players from the 70s in particular. And McEnroe would be a rival for that crown.

@KaitainCPS Yes, there's a nice clip of Brad Gilbert talking about Agassi on YouTube, saying how every Agassi shot is center-cut, in the sweet spot, and taken early. He revolutionized the game that way. As a tiny kid with a big racket hitting vs. a ball machine 2,500 times a day, the only joy he found was in the perfect center strike when the ball would zoom fastest off his racket. He tried for that as his only possible pleasure. There's a nice story in Open about his father meeting Peter Graf.

most people dont realise this is a very slow court thats why chris evert was so sucessful here.edberg would have won this match if it was played on a faster surface.he beat agassi this year at indian wells a much faster surface.

Psychologically brittle, but in my opinion the most talented player of all time. Seriously. I know it's become standard to put Federer into that bracket, but Fed's playing in an era of better racquet tech, especially strings. Close, but Agassi's ground strokes are just magnificent...amazing. Obviously he only (!) won 8 slams, and I'm not saying he fulfilled his potential, but he had SO much talent.

Stefan Edberg is at least one of the top 3 volley players of all-time if not the best!
