Daniel 9 describes events of the last seven years before Christ returns and pours out His wrath on the Antichrist. In chapter 9 we are told that the Antichrist will be a Syrian and that he will confirm a treaty, then cause temple worship to cease when he sets himself up in God's Temple.

  • the last days are not 7 years long they are 40 years long see my video

The 40 years from Armageddon to the Kingdom of God

  • @benzion888 - The Last Days started with the 1st Coming see Hebrews 1 and will be completed at the end of the 7th Day Sabbath, see Hebrews 4 and Revelation 20.

  • @richardperry2 Dan 12:1 and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: this is the last days of the Times of The Gentiles the one spoken of in Hebrews is the last days of the Jewish system of things

  • @benzion888 Daniel 12 is about the Great Tribulation which is in the Time of the End which is in the Last Days.

Daniel 12:"At that time (Time of the End) Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people--everyone whose name is found written in the book--will be delivered.

  • @richardperry2 yesand this will be 40 years not 7

  • @benzion888 - what 40 are you talking about?

A generation is from birth to death and according to Psalm 90 is between 70 and 80 years.

  • Israel rejected "Christ" "The only acceptable sacrifice, God will "never"bend to Israel's rejection; temple sacrifices will never be acceptable "ever". Dan.9 24-27 Jerusalem rebuilt in troublesome times Neh4:16 "unto" Messiah, which was cut off (crucified) the (new) covenant confirmed for 1 week (a generation) in that generation sacrifices/oblations ceased, Jerusalem destroyed by prince (Cesar), flood makes it desolate til end (days) overspreading of temple is til Christ consumes/bound devil, EZ

  • The one cut off in the midst of the week is the Messiah. Which is the 70th week. If your bible reads differently. Then throw your bible in the garbage. That Daniel 9 prophecy was fulfilled. By Yahshua. The Jesuits and Vatican have created all of the new bibles so as not to point the finger at them..... I had a nice NIV study bible and it went in the trash. It was Jesuits Alcassa and Rivera, who created the future doctrine, and the Nero doctrine, as an answer to the Reformation.

  • @richardperry2 Sorry but Dan.9:24-27 refers to Jesus Christ." Seventy weeks are determined for your people(Jews)......and to anoint the Most Holy.(Christ) He shall bring an end to sacrifice and oblations.(when Christ died, the veil in the temple was torn from top to bottom.)At the end of the 70th week, (34ad) Stephen was stoned to death causing the covenant to go to the Gentiles!

  • @handydude6 You are correct my brother! AMEN!

  • This, his chronological scheme, as also the schemes of all others, I believe, altogether ignores. There can be no Millennium until the judicial work of these 40 years is accomplished. They are the period of the Seventh Vial; and "no one can enter into the Nave until the Seven Plagues of the Seven Angels" of the Vials "may have been fulfilled" (Apoc. 15:8).

  • The "unparalleled tribulation" of Mark 13:19, 20 belonged to the end of the Mosaic Dispensation, and has long since passed away; but the "time of trouble" foretold by Daniel and Jeremiah, and styled "the unparalleled tribulation" by Mr. Shimeall, is a pre-millennial chronological period of 40 years.

  • The "unparalleled tribulation" is to precede the millennium, and will, of course, require time for its development. In Micah 7:15, the period for performing the truth and mercy sworn, or covenanted, to Abraham and Jacob is chronologized by "the days of Israel's coming out of the land of Egypt," [see footnote Elpis Israel, page 449.] which every reader of scripture knows was a period of 40 years.

  • @richardperry2 This, however, will not be accomplished in an instant. God could annihilate the power of the enemy in a moment, and at once clear the ground for the erection of His own power in the earth; but there would then be no scope for the intended punishment of this wicked world, and no depth in the moral effect upon "the remnant."

  • @richardperry2 see my videos The Last Terrible 40 Years and my channel video The 40 years from Armageddon to the Kingdom of God

  • @richardperry2 Will the change from the kingdom of men to the kingdom of God be instantaneous, or the slow result of a universal process? Will Christ steal upon the earth in a time of peace, and quietly destroy the powers of the earth, with their armies, in a single night, as in the case of the Assyrians in the days of old? Or, will he be manifested when wars are rife, and trouble abroad? Dan. 12: 1
