ABC 7 News (CA) - Khadijah Ghafur, founder of Gateway Academy Charter Schools, was convicted on multiple charges including fraud and embezzlement and was sentenced to 14 years in prison. Ghafur is affiliated with an organization Muslims of America (MOA), founded by radical Sheikh Mubarik Ali Gilani of Pakistan. MOA is believed to be a front for the terrorist group Al-Fuqra, also founded by Gilani.
