While my 2007 Mustang isn't a 427r, I've got the roushcharger, a big ass intake with a vmp tune, 3.73's, and pypes muffler deletes and it sounds just like this thing, and I bet it's faster too. All for under 30 grand. Would still love to have this car too though, my car obviously doesn't have the handling aspect.

who the hell will buy the Roush Mustang 427R, it cost more than an Shelby,and it slower. even the 2011 mustang 5.0 is faster, handler better and the starting price is $32,000 and the roush cost around $53,000

@dapitbull2009 Exactly, this car's title is hella misleading, I was expecting a classic 427, not a silly 4.6 modular you get in police cruiser...

I guess in a straight line the 5.0 may outrun roush..coz roush is nose heavy coz of the SC..but in the twisties..i dont think 5.0 has a chance..

i'm a newbie at all this but... will a bone stock 2011/2012 mustang 5.0 with the peformance package outrun this at a much cheaper price?
