Jesus Camp by Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady

A growing number of Evangelical Christians believe there is a revival underway in America whereby Christian youth must take up the leadership of the conservative Christian movement. JESUS CAMP, directed by Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady (The Boys of Baraka), follows Levi, Rachael, Tory and a number of other young children to Pastor Becky Fischer's Kids on Fire summer camp in Devil's Lake, North Dakota, where kids as young as 6 years-old are taught to become dedicated Christian soldiers in God's army. The film follows these children at camp as they hone their prophetic gifts and are schooled in how to take back America for Christ. The film is a first-ever look into an intense training ground that recruits born-again Christian children to become an active part of America's political future.

Wow... I mean wow. I am Catholic and I've gotta say this radical Christianity strangely enough reminds of radical Islam. I thought that by now Christians have realized that God and Jesus aren't weapons of war. I understand that they're expressing they're love for God, but it also seemed as if they were pushing for a holy war.

yes, the film is amazing, just like the fact that the directors managed to have access to such a camp, I strongly advice anyone to see this film, since it's even wonderfully shot. I am glad there are Catholics like you that realise that extremism is armful from whatever side it comes from...thanks for your comment :-)

Sad how so many seem concerned with this but not with our children being indoctrinated with violent videos and cartoons, or being told at as early as elementary school that they can be gay abd should explore their sexuality. We have a generation that is filled with self. Check out the suicide amongst teenagers and you will know that they are empty inside. WAKE UP AMERICANS. LET'S WE LOOSE OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS!!
