Haven't seen Klezmocracy since before Mr. Papillo stopped playing with them... got some impressive soloing going here! Do you play regular bass as well, or just the guitar version?

Guitar version? Can't tell if it's a slight on bass solos or 6-string basses... I play four string more often these days especially with songwriters and funk bands. 6 string on gigs where people want me to solo. honestly, I'm kind of tired of my solos and would much rather just play bass all night these days!

Sorry for the confusion; I was meaning to say upright bass as well as bass guitar. I guess 'regular' wasn't the best choice of words... no slights intended!

oh! HA... no, but I really pine for one... The upright is my all time favorite bass tone, I just can't afford a decent one. ONe day, I will just buckle down and get one and get to work!!
