Every tattooist is different, almost all of tattooing is artist preferation, from the machinhes you use to the voltage you set your machine too. What may work for some artist may not work for others, so its hard to criticize this guy if what he is doing is working.

for the this outline, i would of used a RS5 < tht needle look to small, your r barely visible n look scratchy...a line is from point A to point B. duh!

you always start a tattoo from the end to the start ,for you want smear any stencil lining unless you free handing a tattoo

some have and some don't to be on the safe side do whats best and suite you and your client
