What's the difference between "Free Space" and "Unallocated"? I have 180GBs "Free Space" after I deleted Ubuntu's Partition.

what are the commands to extend the C:\ from a 50 gig partition into the new 800= gig partition. Newly installed 1tb drive and ghosted from previous drive. It copied over the older exiting partition table. Now I have a 800+ gig of free space. I want to make this all one partition so it is basically 1tb C:\ . Windows xp diskpart.
