This was the summer of 1979 at the opening of Center Stage in Canton,Mi.. BSA had just finished recording in Grand Funk Railroads' studio out by Brighton with Mark Farner at the board. We had a riot shooting up a big dirt pile out back with my .45. To this day, I don't know if he was really cool or if he wanted to know I was out of ammo before we recorded.
