I'm a muay thai practitioner who just recently came across an aikido practitioner. He destroyed me. I did not think I was weak. What is this path of aikido? This redirection of energy and purpose? And when I hit an aikido practitioner, what is the blind spot?

This guy came to Canada about 50 years ago and found Bill Collins sensei, now 87 years old, at age 40 trying to learn Aikido from a book with his Judo instructor at the University Settlement House in Downtown Toronto. He started Training Bill in Aikido and then on his return to Japan told the Doshu that there was now aikido in Canada.
