Into the bottles, out of the bottles, into my glass, and into my head. Aaaaah...beautiful.

  • seems like way too much work... id rather have the ppl at brewtime do it lol

  • OK, ok so I'll tell you guys this one if you promise not to tell ANYONE! I use turbonado sugar mixed w/mollases cooked in a large non stick pan. Add water and cook to desired color. Pour onto a non-stick cookie sheet. You may need more than one. When it hardens break and re grind into powder. Before it hardens you can even add spice hints of your choice. Your friends will beg you to tell them your secret. Make them suffer a little before you do.

  • @zerokiryucross the egyptians?

  • If you drink enough, I'll bet I can convince you you've met him already. ;)

  • Actually, no I haven't thought of that. Are you saying you just drop in the dry sugar and shake it in? Do you find you have any problems with aeration that way?

Seems like more work. We boil the priming sugar/water mixture, so we haven't had any infection issues (knock on wood!).

  • Nice, im gonna have to try my hand at beer next time im brewing. Maybe one of these days we can trade a batch of mead for a batch of beer.
