This is my Nitro Planes Bobcat 50, powered by an OS .61 FX with an APC 11x7p.
The retracts are pneumatic. Thanks to Mike for filming the flight. I estimate the passes between 90 and 95 mph. I will post the actual speed once I get a chance to get the radar gun on it.

  • with it being a pusher prop do you have to put the prop on backwards on the motor?

  • @flyboycub Turning the prop around won't work, you have to use a special "pusher prop" with the pitch reversed.

  • Very nice plane. Seems pretty quick..nice go-around/landing. What does she weigh "all-up?..

  • @jetcrasher1 Thanks. It weights 8 lbs 3 0z with a half tank of fuel. It gets around the pattern pretty quickly, although I am a little disappointed. I was hoping to get 110, but it looks like I'll be lucky to get 100 mph on the radar gun. Oh well, it's still a hoot to fly and looks great on those low passes with the gear up!

  • Nice.....

A lot better landing than the last several I have witnessed......

Definitely looks like you have it dialed in now...

Can't wait to get it on the Radar gun for an "official" top speed.
