My father said the boss idiots in the army were nice as to everyone in WW2 because they didn't want a bullet in the back! ;-)

my duty was over feb. 2 2002, did not go to war. got other than honorable discharge in school in infantry for going UA . got discharged in 1999

@ranchero302me got to be n the exact same spots that movie was filmed during training, only get to do that if you go to paris island south carolina,oh man, marine recruit boot camp is no walk in the park,I will never forget my man,and regret not going my full term in the marines,but got demoted after i graduated,partied to much n got discharged. I regret giving up the marines to this day,would do anything to go back. I really miss.
