Barney would always be in disguise in those costumes just to get Fred's Fruity or Cocoa Pebbles. They showed their commercials a whole lot in 1983. After the '80s, the commercials weren't as funny as they once were. They were jumping on the latest music trend in the '90s commercials.

I remember 1 funny Pebbles Commercial a few years ago. Fred was going to get his pebbles back from barney by dressing as Miss Stonewall. barney's old school teacher. Fred in a green dress and grey wig wigh bull horn glasses.
