Lionesses vs buffalos

Three lionesses killed a buffalo calf. A team of buffalos challenges them and keep them away from the kill! The lionesses try to defend their meal and chase the vultures that are taking advantage of the situation. I was very lucky to film this challenge in Kruger NP (S.Africa) , north of Satara. This video is probably a little "too long" but I preferred to cut it as little as possible to capture the psychological angles of the challenge. And the behaviour of the protagonists too !
