Thanks for this! As silly (or strange) as this sounds, this is very useful to me. Gives me an idea of the dialect. I'm writing a story based in Texas, 1846, and one of the chief characters is from Kentucky.

Haha. Seems like a nice fella. I'm from Somerset, Kentucky (South-Central Kentucky) but my friends and I are like the anti-Kentuckians. Haha. We don't really have an "twang" or accent, it's sort of bland... Unlike many Kentuckians I have no spiritual faith, and some of my friends are the same way (spiritually that is).
