Removal of a Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1000AT from a fire station in Macon, GA gone wrong... Larry went to lower the siren down off to the side of the truck, and none of us realized just how much weight was off-centered to the truck, since the boom isn't mounted to the middle of the body like most; it's mounted on the back right corner post of the body. Needless to say, it scared the hell out of not only Larry, who was the one operating it, but all of us since any one of us, especially him, could've easily been killed. Oh well, at least now we know what NOT to do if for whatever reason we use his truck again!
