I'm curious? I see a couple of problems with your towel technique if taken to the top of the swing. Is this only for say half shot practice at the most?

Yes you should be able to hit full swings with your driver. However you wouldn't have a long arm swing. In a backswing that goes all the way to parallel, the right side of the towel would come off and not still be connected. still a great drill. just depends on your tendency. I use it to eliminate the roll in the backswing and feeling the turning of the shoulders.
