Depends on your haircut and the hair prep. I have slightly short-medium length hair if you wash your hair and then dry it you don't have to use much like maybe a dab on the fingertips and you can style your entire head with that. If you have long hair and you don't wash your hair before it you'll end up using alot like I used to. I don't know how long it lasts since I never really finished a whole tub.
